Cockroaches in apartment in Lessebo

An apartment in Lessebo that had been empty for a while was full of cockroaches when the next tenant were about to move in.

– We discovered it when we were there to show the apartment to a future tenant. It was the janitor who saw it and told us right away, says Inger Sundberg, lessor at Lessebohus, to Smålandsposten.

The tenant who had previously lived in the apartment had left some food in the apartment before moving out and then the cockroaches had come and spread. The apartment has now been sanitized.

– What was unusual here was that we had no accommodation there, so we did not know about the problem as quickly as we usually do, says Inger Sundberg to the newspaper.
