Dead man was found in the forest - the identity determined

On July 16 this year, the remains of a man were found in a forest outside Alvesta in Kronoberg County. The body has now been identified at a forensic autopsy.
According to police, the body belongs to a man who was reported missing in the Lund area in August 2015. He was at the disappearance at the age of 40 but there were no suspicions of crime.
Police say they still do not suspect crime but that the case is not fully settled.
