Half of them break the law

The motorcycle season is in full swing and that means many motorcycles on the roads. But some noise significantly more than is allowed by law.
– I think that about five out of ten motorcycles in traffic noise too much. Within Växjö urban area, it is a concern, it can be a disturbing noise for many, says Jeremy Siebolds who is car inspector at the police in Kronoberg County to SVT News Småland.
According to SVT, in some cases the motorcyclists have completely removed the silencers. In other cases, the mufflers have been rebuilt because it sounds more than is allowed.
