Lundvik was leading - ended on sixth place

Expectations were high on John Lundvik from Växjö in Eurovision. The odds for the festival first placed the Swede as second and then third.

When all the votes were counted, Lundvik ended in an honorable sixth place.

He received the twelve points from the Netherlands, Estonia, Spain, Ireland, Armenia, Australia, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Finland while the tens came from Britain, Latvia, France.

Lundvik was in first place after the jury had given their points. Then the position was: Sweden first at 239 points, second North Macedonia, 237 and third Netherlands, 231.

After much drama - and a long wait - it was clear. The viewers' voices had been counted. The Netherlands won and John Lundvik landed on sixth place.
