Music and culture on Tyrolen

On June 28, Tyrolen will be filled with multicultural elements, both when it comes to food and music, when it is once again time for the ”The World party" initiative.

– For the second year in a row, we organize "The World Party" which is a collaboration between us in the association Tyrolens Vänner, Musik i Syd and the project Kulturintegration Alvesta. Our ambition is to invite the visitor to music and culture from all over the world in a cozy folk park environment. Come if you like world music, love to dance and eat good food, says Hanna Evelynotter from Tyrol's Friends.

The main act is the world-famous duo Amadou and Mariam. Their music is described as Afro-pop and since the late 80s they have released a number of albums. One of their most popular singles is "Senegal Fast Food".

Others who perform are UROISH, Faela and Lamine Cissokho.
