New announcement about the popular artwork in Växjö

On June 11, 2018, five sculptures were stolen from the artwork "Alla är" at the southern part of Lake Växjö. They were later found in "restrained condition" in a forest area outside the city. All had to be restored and strengthened.

Many Växjö residents who have passed through the artwork have wondered when it would be restored. The restoration has been delayed over time, but during the week Torbjörn Johansson's artwork will be put back at the lake.

– The installation has been delayed because all five sculptures needed restoration and it was the waiting time of the bronze foundry. But it feels wonderful to have this missing piece in place again, says Filippa de Vos, art director in Växjö.
