Record for the investment in Växjö

Last year it was the premiere for UngDrive, where young people work as entrepreneurs in Växjö municipality. Prior to the year's round, application records have been filed and the number of places for UngDrive Kronoberg has been increased.

More than 50 applications have been submitted to 20 places in Växjö municipality, which is the best search pressure throughout Sweden. Now the committee for work and welfare has decided to add 50,000 Swedish crowns to increase the number of places to 27.

– Entrepreneurship among young people needs to turn upwards. UngDrive is an alternative in Växjölöftet Summer for young people who would rather create their job than get a job. It is good for the future job creation if more people try to be an entrepreneur and develop their skills as an entrepreneur, says Oliver Rosengren (M), municipal council and chair of the committee for work and welfare.
