Retail chain opens at Samarkand

This autumn, a new store will open at Samarkand in Växjö. It is the furniture and interior design shop Trademax with over ten stores in Sweden and e-commerce stores in several Nordic countries that will open on Handelsvägen 2. The store will open in Sova's former premises.

- We have a strong momentum and have had this for several years where we see that online trading in combination with stores is a winning concept. Unlike many traditional store chains that choose to reduce their store network, we plan to continue expansion during the fall and 2020, says Christian Eriksson, CEO of Home Furnishing Nordic AB.

The lease on the property owner was signed a few weeks ago and now the premises will be renovated to fit the new chain. The new store will also mean several new jobs. Trademax plans to open in Växjö in November this year.
