Safely in Växjö - but continued problems
Växjö has made a security survey, where municipal residents have responded to a questionnaire about safety. 4,427 randomly selected in Växjö and Alvesta got the chance to answer the survey and 65 percent of them chose to participate.
The survey shows, for example, a slightly better results than previous years when it comes to the part that has not been exposed to any crime, 81.4 percent.
In Araby, the residents consider that the police care more about the problems, but there are a few more who feel unsafe compared with 2017.
The parts that are considered the most problematic, according to the survey respondents are littering, insecurity outdoors alone late nights, to take the bus or train, cars driving too fast, joyrides with mopeds and motorcycles as well as youth gangs that bother and disturb.
