Several changes on the national highway

The Swedish Transport Administration will commence the planning for highway 25 between Lessebo and Hovmantorp this fall.

– We are still in the investigation phase regarding the content of the project. It is currently planned that we should start projection this autumn, says Friderike Liljengren, project manager at the Swedish Transport Administration, in an email to Smålandsposten.

The entire route will be provided with game fencing and there will also be a fence between the carriageways on some of the distance of the road. Because of that, the speed can also be increased. In addition, a walking and cycling path and possibly a tunnel are planned under the national road.
