The chain store Mio grows and has passed six billion Swedish crowns in total sales, almost a triple in five years. The store in Växjö is also going very well.According to Smålandsposten, Mio wants to expand its store at Norremark and has applied for a building permit for an extension of 1,800 square meters. It is planned for an expanded exhibition space, larger warehouses and new office and staff spaces.- We will be able to show our line much better when we get more space. It will be an easier job for the staff. We also need a larger stock. We are increasing very quickly, and there are many goods that are on their way to us, says shop manager Anne-Cathrine Steen to Smålandsposten. The extension is in two floors and is intended to be built on the back of the current store.
