1 800 new jobs in the county

According to the Employment Agency's labor market forecast for 2019-2020, employment is expected to increase in Kronoberg County. In total, there will be 1 800 new jobs during the forecast period, according to the Public Employment Service.

– Despite a certain dampening, a continued high need for labor is expected in Kronoberg County and increased employment. At the same time, the problem remains with a significantly higher unemployment among people with preschool education compared to those with higher education, says Valdete Hashani, labor market analyst at the Employment Service.
