17-year-old is sentenced for threatening Durmaz

On Tuesday, a trial was held against the 17-year-old Växjö citizen who has been charged with threats and insult against the Swedish national team player Jimmy Durmaz. According to SVT Småland, the 17-year-old is sentenced to pay 2,500 Swedish crowns in daily fines.

Among other things, The person wrote "I have your address, be on your guard" at Jimmy Durmaz's Instagram account after the loss match against Germany during the World Cup in Russia last year.

In the match against Germany, Durmaz caused a free kick that the Germans managed to score 2-1 in the last minute of the match. Afterwards, Jimmy Durmaz received thousands of comments on social media and the verdict is the first and so far the only one.
