A dog was hit and died on a national road

Last week, a chihuahua got hit by a car on highway 25 outside Lessebo. The dog died at the scene and the same day the dog owner reported the incident as a contagion accident at the police station in Växjö.

It is unclear who drove the car and whether the person discovered the accident or not. The dog run loose at a small forest area next to the road and then got hit on the national road, writes Smålandsposten. The police have chosen not to initiate a preliminary investigation into crime.
