A man sentenced - tried to murder his daughter

A man in his 35s, resident in Alvesta municipality, is sentenced for attempting to murder his five-year-old daughter.
According to P4 Kronoberg, the man drugged the girl's formula with anti psychotic medicine because he believed that unknown men would hurt her and that he therefore wanted to end her life. The girl became unconscious and was in the hospital for a few days but she survived.
The man had taken large amounts of cocaine the days before the attempted murder he is now sentenced to. Therefore, his punishment results in forensic psychiatric care.
