Accommodation is evicted when Rönnedal is demolished

The rental properties at Rönnedal in Alvesta, which were previously rented by the Migration Board, will be demolished. At the moment, 37 apartments are rented out to people who soon have no place to live.

– As the Migration Board left the premises last year, we let others rent the apartments in the houses on short-term contracts. The Migration Board's decision took a very long time, and we did everything to try to cover our costs, says Allbohus customer manager Caroline Fagerström to Smålandsposten.

She also says that they began to inform the people who live in the apartments that the demolition decision will come into effect on May 17, and that after that the apartments will be terminated.

– At best, we can start to demolish this year already. If the apartments are just empty we just bleed money, then it is better that we get to the demolition as quickly as possible, says Caroline Fagerström to Smålandsposten.
