Alvesta's new family center has opened

Alvesta's new family center has been inaugurated. In the premises that previously had health care for refugees, there is now a child care center, social services and dental care.

– This has basically been a local issue that we have had for decades. Having a family center is very important and there is a very large need in Alvesta municipality. What the business is basically about is no children should end up between the chairs, everything should be included, says Daniel Bäck, operations manager at Alvesta health center and Moheda to Smålandsposten.

Other municipalities in Kronoberg County have family centers. There is also a maternity care center and an open preschool, but it is still lacking in Alvesta.

– There is some grass area in the area, so we hope to expand in the future. It is clear that I hope and think that in the future we will be able to have all four legs with maternity care and open preschool in place, says Daniel Bäck to Smålandsposten.
