An ongoing burglary was discovered in Växjö

In early June, a man got home together with his daughter. To his surprise, he saw two unknown people moving inside his home and now one of them, a 35-year-old man, is sentenced to attempting theft.
When the man discovered the thieves, they both tried to escape and one only one of them managed to escape. The man got hold of the 35-year-old, who together with the other person tried to break up a safe box in the home. They had also thrown out all clothes and searched around in the home.
The 35-year-old's sanction becomes conditional judgment. He must also pay 5,000 Swedish crowns in damages to the man.
