Associations received money from the foundation

Last Thursday, eight associations in Kronoberg County received money from the Savings Bank Foundation Kronan and Swedbank, which each year distributes money to various associations.

– This year the foundation gives 667,500 Swedish crowns on two occasions. Today is the first time we have gathered those who receive money so that they have the opportunity to tell a little about their operations, says Niclas Rimsby, office manager at Swedbank in Växjö to Smålandsposten.

Åby / Tjureda, the bandy association, received 87,500 Swedish crowns. 30,000 Swedish crowns went to the Växjö Orchestra Association. Växjö canoe club, Furniture cluster, Gemla hometown association, Åseda tennis club, Alvesta tennis club and Ryttartorpet at Araby were the remaining associations that also received money.
