Brighter housing situation for students in Växjö

The housing situation for Växjö's students has improved since last year. It shows this year's housing report from Sweden's unified student union, SFS. Last year, Växjö had a red mark, which means that the city cannot offer a first-hand contract to new students within the first half of the year.

Just before the start of the autumn term, Växjö receives a yellow marking, which means that students can receive a housing offer sometime during the autumn term. This year's improvement is mainly due to the fact that almost 250 new student apartments have been built.
