Bus stops gets upgraded

Over the next year, the Swedish Transport Administration will upgrade just over 80 bus stops in Kronoberg County. It should increase accessibility at more bus stops and simplify the bus rides for people with, for example, disabilities, visual impairment or people that have a stroller.
These include raising the platform to simplify boarding and disembarkation, sinus plates to facilitate people with reduced vision and new weather protection and bicycle racks.
Work has begun in Ljungby, Markaryd and Älmhult. During 2020, 60 bus stops north and south of national road 25 will also be upgraded.
