The staff at Unicare's health center at Söder in Växjö is terrified after last week when a doctor was abused by a relative of a patient. A man in his 20s abused a doctor after experiencing his girlfriend being offended during an investigation.

– It was a real shock. We have never even thought of the idea of ​​being exposed to such serious violence, we who work with helping people, says operations manager Annika Gavaller to Smålandsposten.

The doctor is on sick leave after the incident. He did not want to comment the event in the news paper. He had to go to the emergency room to sew in his mouth, nose and he also have a fracture. The doctor also hit his head and neck when he fell to the floor.
