Downhill will be possible in Hanaslöv

Alvesta • Publicerad 2 maj 2019

Courses for downhill cycling will be built on Hanaslöv in Alvesta municipality. Obstacles and jumps will be built on the hill.

– Hanaslöv has only been a ski slope so far so this is new to us. But there are many ski resorts that invest in cycling down the mountain in the summers. Now we will also look at what we can find here, says Markus Olofsson, operator of the ski resort, to Smålandsposten.

Alvesta municipality will help with the construction. Which activities that will be in the facility is up to Friluftsfrämjandet and Alvesta SOK to decide.

On the back of the mountain, a gravel road will also be built, which can be used by both cyclists and people who walk.
