Employees in Växjö can learn Swedish that suits their profession

The hotel and restaurant trade union's educational project, An World of Opportunities, is expanding its range of courses with free Swedish education for hotel cleaners in, among other cities, Växjö. Many companies have asked for the course which is now becoming a reality.

– Many companies have foreign-born staff, which is not always comfortable with the Swedish language. Because communication is crucial in these important service professions, efforts are required for everyone to have the same opportunity to develop and prosper in the profession, says Heidi Knorn, project manager for A World of Opportunities.

The courses in vocational Swedish will be at the participants' companies and tailored to personal language level and needs in the specific professional role.
