Family festival at Araby

A folk party for everyone! It is the motto of Araby Folkfest that takes place on Saturday at Araby Park Arena. The program includes both artist performances, Växjö championship in football tennis, belly dance, opportunity to meet emergency staff, food from all corners of the world and lots of family activities.

- We are investing heavily in families with children, says Malin Richardson in the organizer group.

The Araby festival has been an appreciated event for many years. Now the tradition has been revived with Araby Folkfest, where the concept is reminiscent of its predecessor with an even stronger family perspective. Last year's folk party was a great success, says Malin Richardson, operations manager at Araby Park Arena and who is also part of the organizer group.

- I think the folk party really lived up to its name last year. It was a lot of joy and people from all over Växjö, who got to see and discover Araby's very best sides with community and commitment.

Malin is now hoping for a repeat of the success.

- The idea is that this will be an annual event, We have been awarded a budget of 100,000 Swedish crowns.
