Family from Växjö is sought for a new project

These days, residents at Teleborg in Växjö will receive an offer to become test pilots in a new project. It is the project "Travel green in green Kronoberg" that is looking for a family that wants to replace their car with electric bicycles.

– We need to break our habit pattern and see that there are actually good alternatives to the car, says Maria Persdotter Isaksson, project manager at Kronoberg Region.

The family that is selected may, among other things, test an electric cargo bike with seats for children and a regular electric bike between June and mid August.

– Then we will follow the family while they replace the car with a bicycle as much as possible. What they think works well, less well and so on, says Maria Persdotter Isaksson.

Traveling green in green Kronoberg is a collaborative project between, among others, the Kronoberg Region, the Southeastern Energy Office, the county's municipalities and the county administrative board. The purpose is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the transport sector in the county.
