Fire bombs were thrown at the police

It got messy on Hjalmar Petris road in Växjö during New Year's Eve. The police and the emergency services were alerted there, partly because of a fire in a tire. According to Smålandsposten, no burning tires were found.
The police detained two people for intoxication. In connection with this, molotov cocktails were thrown at the police. They then slammed close to the police and their vehicles. About 15 people were involved.

– We have not been able to identify any of the involved, they were masked, says the internal police officer Viktor Jensen to Smålandsposten.
A report of violent riots and attempts at serious abuse has been established.
