Former municipal commander sues Alvesta

Two years ago, Kristiina Kosunen Eriksson was fired as commander-in-chief at Alvesta. In connection with her release from work, an agreement was signed with the municipality which allowed her to receive an additional twelve months' salary which was over 1 million Swedish crowns.
Despite the money, Kristiina Kosunen Eriksson has chosen to sue Alvesta municipality for 880,000 Swedish crowns because she was not offered a new job. In the trial, Växjö Municipality's Chief Counsel Magnus Bengtsson will be the legal representative of Alvesta Municipality.
– It is a job that I have been allowed by the municipality of Växjö to take, says Magnus Bengtsson to Smålandsposten.
