Girl disappeared - preliminary investigation was canceled
Last summer, an underage girl in Lessebo municipality called her teacher and feared that she would be married away in connection with a trip to the home country where she would be for at least six months.
Later on, the girl in the conversation announced that everything was good and that she would not be married away. However, social security and border police tried to prevent her from leaving the country because her parents were heard in the background during the conversation. Since then, the girl has disappeared.
Smålandsposten now reports that prosecutor Anna-Karin von Schoultz has canceled a preliminary investigation plan for marriage imprisonment. The girl has not participated in the preliminary investigation but according to Lessebo municipality they have been in touch with her.
