Girls get to try industrial professions

On Tuesday, December 17, girls from several high schools in Växjö and Alvesta are invited to the Epic education center where they will get the chance to test the industrial profession. The girls can try to weld and program.
– Through Girl Day, we want to highlight industrial occupations and showcase the opportunities that exist in the technology industry. During the day, the girls get to experience what it's like to work with technology and also meet female role models at our member companies. There has been great interest in the day and all the places are filled, says Maja Karlberg Business Manager GoTech.
The day is organized by GoTech in collaboration with the industrial engineering program at Kungsmadskolan.
