Great interest in the new jobs

In April, the municipality of Alvesta started looking for new employees who, at short notice, have the opportunity to jump in and work. This is because more coworkers than usual stay at home with the symptoms of the coronavirus.
According to the Smålandsposten, the municipality has received over 100 declarations of interest.
– We have received mixed competencies, and we have gone through the entire list, says the municipality's human resources manager Michael Färdig to Smålandsposten.
The idea is that those who get jobs should be able to jump in as soon as possible if there is a need for labor. Workers may also become current this summer when regular staff take a vacation.
