Greta Thunberg: the little champion
Media and social media recently circulated around the role of activist Greta Thunberg, who has become the symbol of youth environmental action, and delivered her speeches in front of the world leaders at the United Nations Council, to highlight the issue of climate and global warming, which is the issue of everyone living on this planet.
The issue of climate and global warming, for those who do not know, is the decisive issue of our time. The global impacts of climate change are widespread and unprecedented in scale, from changing weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding. Adapting to these impacts will be more difficult and costly in the future if radical action is not taken now. This is the case that Greta defends desperately, starting with the vigils in front of the Swedish parliament to the gatherings of millions of demonstrators around the world to support the cause of climate. While teenagers who are in the age of Greta, are busy with their own lives and dreams, and many people feel helpless to managing their own lives, it is the same time that 16-years-old girl has chosen to take responsibility of issue that is larger than her size and age. Her bravery exceeded the bravery of helpless politicians. What Greta has done, many have failed to do to defend their cases.
"Politicians and people in power must listen to science and start real moves that, will protect the climate." "How dare you steal our dreams and destroy our future?" That was what Greta bravely said, and that is what disturbed some of the barbaric leaders who scoffed at her. They said that: they are not obliged to listen to what the children are saying, and encourage their extremist emotions. They must have forgotten that they caused all the disasters, wars and metaphors that are being committed against innocent people in every part of this world. That it really annoys them when someone reminds them. They used to hide their ugly face as hell behind the fake slogans that they chant about protecting human rights and peace. Of course, they are only interested in making money and achieving political and strategic goals that guarantee their strengths, survival and power. They denounce the war in Yemen, while they make Internationally prohibited arms deals which worth billions of dollars, to kill Yemenis children. They denounce the war in Syria while killing civilians by their airstrikes. What a boring and dirty game!. Some may be tired of repeating this miserable sentences. Unfortunate, this is the sad truth.
Greta's desperately defense of the climate issue is a defense of all the issues and violations that occur on the world. It stems from her faith in the right of others to life. Greta represents me and represents every one believes in a just cause and can not be happy amidst all these chaos. She is younger than us, but she is able to do what we could not do. She is able to high lighting on the climate issue, which is almost forgotten or ignored by many, and rally behind it many supporters. while we lost the means to defend our issues.
