Immigrants in Sweden are a grant or distress
Many believe that the presence of immigrants in Sweden poses a danger to them, and even that some promote a civil war. Others are afraid of mixing with immigrants as if these immigrants are vampires came from the east. Others say that these immigrants are just a handful of lazy people, who only promenade on the streets and enjoying their lives while the state pays them financial aid. The immigrants do not try to do any efforts to get a job or try to open up to the new society, they even cannot speak Swedish. As if it is like pushing a button on the wall, the man find himself Swedish, or sleeps at night and wakes up in the morning and become Swedish. It's not that easy, it's a real challenge. I have to make it clear that I didn't do that because I am an immigrant either, but I am talking about reality with complete impartiality, and from a completely neutral point of view.
So, we must ask ourselves what these immigrants will add to Swedish society?
The answer is simply if we assessing it from different aspects. The first is that these immigrants have mostly completed their university studies in different disciplines, others have years of experience in various scientific fields such as medicine, education, engineering ect. some of them have professional trades, such as construction and plumbing, and butcher etc. So they add a great human resources that the new country will benefiting from, and they are here to promote this country culturally, economically and scientifically. But there are some barriers that must be overcome first. In the same time, they are a great loss to the countries which they left, which spent a lot of money for their education. So, they should build and promote their own countries. But the circumstances of the war that displaced them, and they are her today to doing their best in their new community. If we look around we will find a lot of good examples, no one can deny that, only someone who sees by the flies eyes can ignore their success. Some of them are still struggling and exploiting all the available opportunities to contribute and building society. according to their specialization and ability. Many of these immigrants are ambitious people who did not have the opportunity to prove themselves in their communities of origin for several reasons, including cultural, religious and political, and deprived of their rights in their homes and came here to seize the opportunity and prove themselves.
On the other hand, the next generation, which is a mixture of different homogeneity and cultures, is of course positive. We can say that after at least ten years there will be a generation capable of speaking more than three to four languages and culturally rich and well-educated in a top country in quality of education. Therefore, this generation will have a capable of communicating with different countries of the world, and will benefit from all the knowledge written in different languages. This will be a strong support for various areas of society. There is another thing is the cultural diversity, which is not popular here in Sweden, perhaps because some believe that cultural diversity will compete with Swedish culture or cancels it. This is a misconception of cultural diversity. Cultural diversity will enrich and enhance Swedish culture and society can benefit from it culturally and touristly if this aspect is invested and utilized properly. What I noticed here is that there are a lot of music groups and some musicians stop their artistic activity after trying to contribute in one way or another to highlight this diversity and difference. This in turn helps to accept the other and facilitates the process of integration and bridging the gap between the original Swedes and immigrants. The reasons, as I mentioned earlier, are either lack of appreciation of the importance of this diversity or a fear that these cultures will dominate Swedish culture. Cultural diversity is a national wealth that must be invested and take advantage of it.
One might say sarcastically "if the presence of immigrants is a positive thing and a human and national wealth, and there are no negatives to their presence. So we must praise God for the blessing of immigrants. In order to be fair, Some negative aspects of immigrants should also be highlighted, including that not all immigrants actually came to look for an opportunity and achieve themselves and contribute to the building of society.
