The municipal housing company Allbohus and the tenant association in Alvesta have agreed on the rent levels for 2019. From April 1, rents will be increased by 2.6 percent.

– The rent increases are largely due to the fact that we have a large renovation need for our apartments. We also want to increase the new construction rate of rental apartments in Alvesta because the need for housing is so large, and then it must be financed through a rent increase, says Allbohus customer manager Caroline Fagerström to Smålandsposten.

For example, for a two-room apartment of 62 square meters with a rent of 5 500 Swedish crowns a month, the rent is increased by 143 Swedish crowns per month. The increase per year is 1 716 Swedish crowns.
