Jet ski is prohibited in the reserve

Last year, the county administrative board decided to expand the nature reserve Kronoberg, which also includes the part of the Helgasjön between Kronoberg and Helgö.

The County Administrative Board also believed that jet skis in Helgasjön has been a major disturbance for wildlife and outdoor life. Therefore, the jet ski was banned, which was appealed by Växjö municipality.

Now the government has decided to reject the appeal. The municipality has stated that there must be the possibility of connection through the strait for all jet skis.
