John Lundvik as voice over in the new Lion King
The classic Disney movie The Lion King comes to the cinema in a completely new vintage. The cinema audience will revisit characters like Simba, Nala, Mufasa and Scar in the new version.
Disney has made motion films on several of their classic cartoons. 17th of July is the premiere for the Lion King, and John Lundvik reveals that he will make the voice as Simba in the Swedish version.
The cartoon Lion King movie was released in 1994. Now, 25 years later, it is more realistic animals that are depicted with what is called "computer-generated imagery", CGI technology. In the English version, the votes are made by Donald Glover and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
