Kungsgrillen opens new restaurant

Things are starting to happen in the center of Teleborg there. This autumn, Lidl will open a new store in ICA's former premises, and already in July, Kungsgillen will establish itself in Pizzeria Torino's old premises.

– These initiatives are a boost for the entire Teleborg center, says Ahmed Algadomi, owner of the King's Grill.

Ahmed started Kungsgrillen at Väster in Växjö in the fall of 2014 and their homemade kebab, falafel and shawarma dishes have been appreciated by the Växjö residents. Last year, the business was completed with Donut King Churros on Storgatan in central Växjö and this year the expansion has continued.

– This spring we opened Kungsgrillen in Kristianstad and the establishment now at Teleborg will be our fourth restaurant. In total, there will approximately be 18 employees.

Teleborg is Växjö's largest district and, including the university area, there are around 25,000 people living here.

– We have received many requests from the inhabitants of Teleborg. With this establishment we also cover the southern part of the Växjö area.

Will you open more restaurants in Växjö?

– In the long run, there will surely be more restaurants, but now we will focus on these three places in Växjö and the restaurant in Kristianstad.
