Large lack of doctors in Växjö

There are no doctors at several health centers around the county. According to P4 Kronoberg, 42 percent of medical services are vacant.
– This is not something we are happy with, and we cannot fully meet the needs of the population when it looks like it does with us today, says regional director Martin Myrskog to P4 Kronoberg.
One of the measures to attract more doctors to the region has been to increase the salaries of primary care physicians and ST doctors. More ST services have also been set up.
