Looking for new owner after bankruptcy

S Wood, which has operations in Grimslöv in Alvesta municipality, has gone bankrupt. A total of 80 employees are affected, of which 34 are at the Grimslöv factory.

All employees have been laid off during the week. But according to manager Bo Ransnäs, there is hope that one will find a new owner who wants to buy the company.

- We are a business with good sales and stable customers, and we do not make red numbers. So the hope is that a buyer will come here during the journey, he tells Smålandsposten.
