Man died in a traffic accident in Växjö

A man in his 70s has died after a traffic accident outside Växjö during Monday morning. The man was involved in a collision on highway 25, at the height of Furuby.

– A passenger car with a trailer were going to cross the road and did not see that a car was coming on road 25. It became a fairly heavy collision when the car drove into the driver's side of the crossing car, says Andreas Arvidsson, investigator at the police in Växjö.

The man who died sat in the car with the trailer and in the other car, there were two women in their 40s and 70s and a four-year-old child. The three people are cared for serious injuries.
