Massive increase in drug offenses

In September, 170 drug crimes were reported in Kronoberg County. That's the biggest figure since mid-2013, according to Newsworthy, which refers to figures from the Crime Prevention Council.
In Växjö municipality, 95 drug offenses were reported in September this year. That's 46 more crimes than the same month last year. In Lessebo, the number of drug offenses has also increased, from one reported crime in September 2018 to six in September 2019. The municipality of Alvesta shows a decrease from 15 to nine.
