For some time now, several brawls have arisen when pupils from different schools have rallied together for common lessons at Pär Lagerkvistskolan in Växjö.

– There will be conflicts when pupils from other schools come here, and we have had extra staff to create safety and security. We try to receive the pupils in a safer way and, above all, see how we organize the adult presence, says Klas Persson, principal of Pär Lagerkvistskolan, to Smålandsposten.

Anna Karlsson, principal of Öjaby school, has also decided that staff from her school will meet their pupils and take them to the bus.

– We have now strengthened with the presence of adults from Öjaby school, and we have a dialogue with the other schools, Ljungfälleskolan and Pär Lagerkvistskolan where the events have taken place. Everyone can help with adult presence to make the pupils feel more secure. Staff from Öjaby meet our students when we go to or from lessons, says Anna Karlsson to the Smålandsposten.
