More surgeries in the hospitals

More and more surgeries are being done at Kronoberg's two hospitals. During the first nine months of this year, 321 more surgeries were performed, compared to the same period last year. In addition, there were also more people who came to an initial reception visit within the 90-day guarantee limit.

– The result comes from a joint and stubborn effort to improve the surgery process. Among other things, we are working to increase collaboration between the various surgeries and to maximize utilization of the surgery rooms, says Rickard Claesson, Deputy Hospital Manager.
