Municipal employees will be tested for corona

According to the new guidelines on the coronavirus disease COVID-19, only people who are in need of hospitalization and healthcare personnel are being tested. The Kronoberg Region has now decided to extend it to also take samples of municipal health and social care staff. However, this is done to a limited extent with two employees per municipality.

The samples are for staff with mild symptoms and those who are on the way to recovering in order to be able to work faster, writes Smålandsposten.

– These are staff who do not need to be home until they are well and two more days. This is where you can earn two, three days at the end. This is what we did last week with our own staff, says infectious surgeon Christian Blomkvist to Smålandsposten.
