New library bus in Alvesta

The book bus that today rolls through Alvesta municipality has done so for over 26 years. But soon the municipality is going to buy a new and more modern bus, which is done with the help of a grant of two million Swedish crowns from the state's cultural council.

– This is a great event for the entire Alvesta municipality. It is really worth celebrating because this means that we now have the financial conditions to invest more. It is great fun that Alvesta has received this supplement, says Suzanne Hammargren, who is temporary administration manager at the cultural and leisure administration, to Smålandsposten.

The new bus will probably roll on the roads next year.
