New paddle center is being built in Växjö

Four years ago, Växjö Padel Center opened on Grusåsvägen nearby Norremark. Now they are investing in one more paddle center in Norremark, just a few hundred meters from the current arena. In winter, Växjö's other paddle centers are expected to open in front of Systembolaget.

– We have been looking around for a while and then this turned up. We think we can do just fine with two paddle centers so concentrated on site. We will be able to arrange even bigger competitions and activities, says site manager Oliver Nilsson to VXOnews.

The new paddle center is expected to be similar to the existing arena, but it is not clear how many courses it will be. According to Oliver Nilsson, the building is expected to be completed around the turn of the year.

- We want to invest and raise the interest in paddle even more. The more courses we have, the more we can test on the sport.
