New restaurant opens in Växjö
This spring, a Vietnamese restaurant opens up in central Växjö. It is the owners of the Växjö restaurants Miso and Chili & Wok that open the new restaurant on Västra Esplanaden, where Koh Thai has previously existed.
– It will be well-prepared and homemade Vietnamese food with street food feeling and decor from Vietnam. It will be the first Vietnamese restaurant in Växjö, and we want to do something fun that does not exist here, says kitchen manager Sin Vang.
The new restaurant, which has not yet been named, is scheduled to open in late March. The premises is currently being renovated.
– There will be food such as noodle soup, summer spring rolls and wok. We will invest a lot in lactose and gluten-free food and many dishes are vegetarian and vegan. On weekends, we also have Asian brunch. We hope for food that suits everyone, says Sin Vang, who also runs several restaurants in Malmö.
