New signs for cyclists in Växjö

One hundred old signs will be taken down and 285 new signs will be set up for the cyclists in Växjö. The new signs will make it easier to cycle in the city.
The new signs will, for example, show distances between different places in Växjö. They will first of all be placed along the main cycle lines.

– The signpost for cyclists has not kept up when the city has grown and become larger. The old signs are worn and need replacing. Therefore, it is positive that we are now investing in really good road signs for cycling, says Sofia Stynbsberg (M), Chairman of the Technical Committee.
The signs will be replaced in one neighborhood at a time.
