New water taps for drinking water in Växjö

Now it is possible to refill your water bottle with tap water in several places in central Växjö. Four new water taps have been set up at the Theater Square, Oxtorget, Stortorget and Linnaeus Park.
– Very positive that we have the water taps in place just before the summer. Now our residents and visitors can fill their water bottles with fresh water from the Bergaåsen completely free of charge, says Sofia Stynsberg (M), Technical Committee Chairman of Växjö Municipality.
The water taps are connected to the municipality's public toilets in the four locations.
