There is a shortage of nurses in many places in the county - except in Alvesta.

– Everyone shouts for nurses around Sweden. But we are fortunate enough to be almost fully manned. Even the summer is manned at the moment, says Mats Hoppe, managing director of the care administration in Alvesta municipality, to Smålandsposten.

Mats finds it extra fun that the municipality's rehabilitation unit does not have any vacancies.

– We have worked hard to build up our business over the past three years and have managed to get a good reputation and become an attractive employer, says Mats Hoppe to Smålandsposten.

In Kronoberg County, about 30 percent of the total healthcare is run by the municipalities and not by the region. That is why a lot of staff is needed.
